Giovanni, aka Gio
This is the smallest pup but a very strong nurser. He has a wideblaze, white muzzle and a gorgeous, full ruff.
Gio at Two Weeks
Giovanni remains a small puppy, but he is the most proficient nurser by far. I have begun supplemental bottle feeding all the pups as Carly is not nursing as frequently as puppies need. Gio needs absolutely no training on bottle feeding. He masters it. This guy has plenty of drive..
Gio at Three weeks
This boy guzzled an 8 oz bottle of puppy formula and blossomed overnight. A very sturdy little fellow ready to rumble with the best of them.
Gio at Five weeks
Gio has really blossomed into a fine looking, sturdy little boy. He has a gorgeous, full ruff, white muzzle and blaze, and now a stocky little physique. Gio always had plenty of drive and is oh so sweet with his kisses. He loves playing, exploring, and sleeping outdoors in the puppy pen, as long as his littermates are there to warm him. On the coldest nights, I've had to close the dog door and make them sleep indoors.
Gio at Four weeks
Gio is pulling himself up to his full height here, sitting pretty. He has a small frame but is one little chunk of a guy. No longer fixated on eating, he delights in exploration, checking in with me, and dribbling a ball.
Gio at Six weeks
Giovanni is a love bug, very tender and sweet. He's also ready for action, despite his smaller size. iGio is a cutie with perfect markings.
